Just got back from the tip with my latest...

A carbon composite Dynatech Mission. Full DX Groupset
onza stem, with reynolds forks.
Now have to sit at work for the rest of the afternoon instead of fetteling...

will post pics soon

Cheers

Update

its not Carbon just sounds a bit flat !
its a Reynolds tubed metal matrix bonded frame
the stem may not be ONZA just the application of a sticker!!
It is DX all the way through with Mavic 317 rims on DX hubs.
Reynolds forks
May build or may split - photos to follow

good damn

how do you get access to the tip? mine is all big skips that get hauled away to the main landfill
if u do split, would be interested in the wheels

My local tips are run by the same company and the county council sets targets for recycling. They sell anything that they can and making friends with the guys that sort the stuff can get them to give you the nod on decent kit. Recent finds include a marin shoreline trail frame, an M-Trax road frame with ex300 kit, and an carrera Kraken- complete.
legrandfromage is the king of the skip monkeys on here, some of the stuff he gets is incredible.

Condition is not great but you are not getting gear thats been looked after!

Cheers

I've found stuff in this condition before - saveable but lots of patience - helps to have a knackered oily donor bike to nick rust free bolts n bits from.

ALWAYS check the seat post moves first - saves a lot of issues later as tools fly around workshop when a mint bike is finished only to find the seatpost is now part of the frame...
