Another BB Question.

I have accumulated most of the bits for the fillet brazed Kili. How do I work out which length BB it is going to need. The frame is late 88/89 and the cranks are Shimano M-730 with non compact rings.

ive got an XT one in that size,old cup and cone type or at least i think i do lol...

It sounds huge. I have just had a rummage and found a 125mm one. I think that's what it is, my (so called) micrometer has had doubt cast upon it before. Are they still made?

yes,i just bought a 127.5mm shimano cartridge for my cooks cranks.

Concur- after much arsing about tryin' tae get non compact dx chainset to work on a 112 axle bb, chap at All Terrain telt me to get a 122.5- works like a charm, does look hugely wide compared to more modern chainsets, but I suppose they just were back in't day.......
