GT Zaskar golden series

I was offered a gt zaskar from golden race series. I found out that there are only 20 or so bikes like that so I'm wondering if there is any way to check out if it's authentic or maybe just repainted Zaskar Carbon expert. Maybe serial number or something like that.
Bike is built with xtr, but there is no gold details on cranks, nor there are golden seatpost,stem,handlebar.
Any help from owners and experts would be much appreciated.

I wonder if the bike was built from a frameset?The stem/bars/seatpost were gold,the cranks were the only part of the groupset anodised gold.How much is the asking price?

I have seen a few frames for sale. Youd think if they were a limited run, they would be identifiable.

Ive also seen at least one gold M970 chainset for sale on ebay,and it went for a good price.I wonder as Ian as alluded to,was there more in the production run than was said to customers.Interesting info here...

Cranks we’re painted/powder-coated not anodised, I had a pair on my Ibis Tranny way back.

Afaik the Golden Series bikes had these cranks fitted as standard, it was part of what made them unique... but don’t quote me!
