.....have riser bars and thumbies?

the front end on my Kilauea (which I think is a Cindercone) is a little lower than I'm now used to.

Riser bars might add enough etra height :? but is it wrong?

Or do I need riser bars and XRays?

nothing wrong with risers and thumbies...Ross Shafer TTT Go-bars and those Club Roost things were available at the same time as Shimano was selling the XTII and Deore DX thumbies. Sure thumbie popularity was winding down by the time risers began to see increased popularity, but I wouldn't sweat it.

Now risers and the Syncros Cattlehead...THAT would be a crime! :D

Hmm, thats a nice looking bike and I think risers would spoil the look.

IMO, go for a stem with a bit more rise ;)

Cool cheers folks. I'll keep my eye out for a stem with more rise - preferabbley a Syncros and also a riser bar with a brace.

Braced riser bars that takes me back! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM ;)

WHAT!!

More like UUURRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!

Just go for a riser, they are a lot easier to find than a higher rise stem which can also look rather ugly.

Something like a Titec Hellbent XC which has a discrete continuous rise look perfectly acceptable on an older bike.
