Having a mooch about on the web yesterday and I'd previously looked for these but never found them when I came across a site with a vast resource of 80's and 90's Raleigh brochures including the missing 1990 Lightweights Brochure, which I believe is the last year that Nottingham hand brazed the Reynolds bikes. It also has both versions of the 1989 Lightweights brochure (early had Chinook and Ozark, late had Cajun and Thunderoad). There are also the 1988 and 1989 Standard ranges with the 501 bikes in them.

Anyway enjoy: http://veterancycleclublibrary.org.uk/l ... 2&items=64 (some stuff is on the next page)

Still no luck with the brochure with the team replica in it.

Carl.

Nice to see my old Chinook there. The ‘Loose Proof’ headset was anything but, from memory!

I had one on my maverick GT that fully lived up to the name, when it was written off it took being mounted into a vice with a bar placed between the drop outs to get the sodding thing off!
