After reading many positive user reviews I have bought myself a Cannondale Killer V500 in need of some TLC.
Question is do I rebuild this as a 7/8 speed using period parts or do I bring it in to the modern era and as a 9/10 speed using newer parts. I have plenty of period bits in my parts bin so this would be the easier option and the purist in me says go that way. Does anyone have any thoughts or opinions??
Finally I also intend to fit front shocks and have a nice pair of RST Mozo Pro's which I think are 100mm travel. Is this too much travel for the frame?
