Hi guys,

I found this beauty for sale, but I can't go to look at it (too far).

Do you think it is a real titanium Diamondback?

Re:

It might be rolled Ti tubing with a welded seam so they would paint it like a Litespeed Hiwassee..........

Re:

I have a titanium dbr or two and there are a few differences that I can see. Do you have any better pictures of the welds and the rear drop outs? Is the seat post shimmed?

Re:

I can see it from here

They have only got to ask whoever is selling it for some more details/pics of specific areas.

Re:

That just demonstrates that the sticker references a known grade of ti alloy. I've got a couple of those stickers myself, doesn't make the drawer they are in are made of titanium.

The drop outs on the frame pictured here don't scream ti, and are nothing like the ones on my two dbr axis tt frames, or any others that I've seen.

There was a thread on here a while back about a very similar frame, which was a steel dbr frame with a full axis tt decal kit, fitted from new apparently.

This one looks steel to me, but without some more detailed pics of areas that will help confirm/deny otherwise, I'm going for steel.
