Hey all,

I'm looking at quill stems for a build and am wondering about the naming of two different styles:

1) Slingshot - I've been looking for one, but can only see them available in the US. Do they have a UK English name too or are they just uncommon over here?
2) The other type is a bit like a dirt drop/riser quill stem, but with a removable faceplate, often on the top. I can only find the Nitto Mt-1 as an example (they class it as a BMX stem, so maybe that's my answer).

second I'd just call a top load stem, and you are correct in that they are common in BMX but not so much in MTB.
