USE seatposts help

I have just got my hands on a nice blue USE seatpost for my latest build

Great, but there are identifying marks as to the size

Now, I know these posts can be shimmed, but how do I find the original size? And, if I need a shim, where do I get these from?

aren't they all 25.0?

shims can be bought from chainreaction and wiggle around £5

Can you make 'homebrew' shims, or do they have to be USE's own?

I guess you can homebrew, it's only aluminium (the seatpost that is). I suppose there may be metal-bonding/corrosion issues if you're unlucky in time. For the sake of £5 I'd buy one just to be safe.
