Do star nuts come in different sizes or is it just a matter of using a bigger mallet if you're fitting it into a 1" steerer rather than a !.125" or 1.25"?
Thanks.

Does anyone make 1" star fangled nuts nowadays?

I'd imagine giving a 1&1/8th a bit of extra malky would work fine in almost any circumstances.

Re:

I found sfn for 1" steerers on eBay but unfortunately I can't do links with my phone atm
I typed in "1 inch star nut"

Nah, you'll probably snap one or more of the tangs. i've done that fitting a standard 1 1/8th to a thick walled steerer. Ended up using a 1" (once i'd got the broken one out)

SJSCycles probably have an entire shelf full of 1" star nuts.

Yeah, they do.
