Ok. You won the Euromillions and have to build it. What’s the most expensive retro spec build we can come up with ? Master Spec on this post ‘updated’ when we get a more expensive part :LOL:

A few rules - No Prototypes, No Beryllium frames and no Ex Team Race bikes ;) er...and you must be able to show the actual cost !

Period correct parts - 10 yr stretch - Anything from 1985-1995. As for looks, too early to tell. A lot of the priciest parts look pretty good :)

I'll kick off with a couple of random suggestions. No idea of current values though..

- Cook Bro's VGS stem in 135mm
- Westpine Neutron hubset (I've only ever seen one photo of the elusive rear)
- Viking Ti chain ...cost c $300 in '93!
- White Industries LMDS derailleur and shifters?

I guess a WTB/King headset would be up there?
 
Yeah, I missed that...! Still stands though - if you're going to go Euromillions-win spec, it has to be included. 4 made, so not a prototype or one-off either ;)
