Weight difference between SB and TB Project Two forks

Finally got two together of identical year and steerer length. There's only 50g in it.

My advice to those with SB forks...keep riding them :)

I have ridden both a lot ... I sure as heck can't tell the difference.

Between the frame, stem, and bar there are enough variables other than the 50g to make the feel different.

Great forks ... they lack the cool factor, but ride better than most of the cool forks ;)

Swapped out my TB P2s this week for some EXotic Carbon ones...same steerer length etc. Bob on the same weight at 880g.

In fairness the EXotics feel a bit better at removing trail buzz...but that's all.

Re:

Yes, SB with the 183mm steerer were 934g, TB were 884g.

They are good at resisting brake-induced twist because of the large diameter blades and they're usually well aligned (unlike some road forks I've had).

Re:

I've used both and to me there is clear handling difference. TBs are more agile, a bit more sensitive and more racey. The normal ones feel more clunky and heavy duty.
