Ok, so some brand promotion in there, but an interesting watch nonetheless imo.

What a fantastic backyard he's got! Nice little documentary from a genuine living legend with a very insightful and wise perspective on life. As he says from the top: "What's the point of winning if you're cheating?" Was this a dig at Lance and others?

Loved the Kamikaze Downhill trailer from '93 that popped up afterwards – check out those mahoosive chainrings! No way! Yes Way!

The issue is that most if not all of the top stars of procycling and athletics, going back decades, were using various PEDs etc. The head of the IOC testing labs has said so amongst others. They still have many of the samples refrigerated. There is so much scandal they have basically just kept schtum about it as its bad for the industry.

Im sure the likes of Tomac and the early stars of mountainbiking were clean as the sport wasnt so commercialized back then. If it ever gets to NBA/NFL athlete pay levels then things will change.

I remember him mainly for dropped bars and the engagingly bonkers Tioga Tension-Disk rear wheel. Technically brilliant but not really suitable for mud!
