Hi Newbie here !
Over the last weekend I have found myself helping to clear my parents Garage , where discovered was my first Mountain Bike a1988 American Raleigh Technium Chill ,
After about two hours giving it a basic clean, service and replacement of one inner tube the Bike rides perfectly. All the parts except saddle are complete an original , the Wheels even have the original Araya stickers.
Having only used the bike for about two years I replaced it with a GT as the frame on the Raleigh was just to big for me for off road and trail use,
So its been hung up for nearly thirty years in a dry damp free garage !
Would love to find out if there is any interest in these old American Raleigh Bikes , so feel free to add any comments please .
