Orange P7 stem bolt help

Gremmers

Dirt Disciple
I am currently restoring my '95 Orange P7, does anybody know the thread size/form of the long bolt that holds the stem into the fork ? The plate inside my fork that the bolt screws into to secure the stem seems to have dropped down 15mm so I need a longer bolt or to make up an adaptor. Very strange.

I don't understand how this has happened as the bolt came out fine when I stripped the bike down, I can feel a ridge where the plate should be and the original bolt would be the right length if it went to where the ridge is. But now the plate is 15mm lower into the fork so my original bolt is too short.

Re:

The wedge is a moveable part that allows you to adjust the stem height. You just need to retrieve it from within the fork (poke it out with something long), refit to the stem, put the stem back in the fork, then tighten the bolt.

Now sorted, it was a quill type and the bottom bit had been pushed down and got stuck. I have retrieved this and built it back up. Thanks for the advice.
