Rock Shox SID 1998 Official service manual

Hi,

I want to try to service my 1998 SID. I have never serviced a fork before. I found the original bushings-kit on ebay, got Judy Butter und will get some oil.

Can anyone help me with the offical service manual for the 1998 SID?

I already know the scan from an bicycle Magazine. http://www.drystonepaul.com/maintenance ... r_1998.jpg

I can find the 99 model manual, but those forks are a bit different (dual air chamber).

SID is not there as i never put a lot of 98+up as nobody wanted it.
Can see what i have later.

SID now up there for 1998.

if you need some more information regarding servicing the 98 SID I can get you a scan of the 98 Bike for Fun magazine (in German), where one of Rock Shock's mechanic BITD explains how you should treat your SID to make them work properly.

Replacing a forks bushings should be done by a specialist. It requires some special tools (which I dont have). So the last time I had to change the bushings from my 03 SID's so I send them to a Rock Shock specialist (together with a new set of bushings, which come with the fork) and the changed them for me. Pricewise it was reasonable also.
