I'm a bit old (or my back is) to ride off road rigid with normal width (2.1) tyres these days, but I get on fine with my rigid fat bike (4.0 tyres), so I had the idea to convert one of my retro rigid bikes to a kind of 'quarter fat' bike with a 26 plus wheel and rigid fork up front, and a 2.2 on the rear. Has anyone here tried plus front, normal rear? if so, got any photos and advice?
