Looking for advice on front forks.

Retro Newbie
Evening all, I picked up a proflex 957 expert today and I'm about to start a strip down and rebuild. I after some advice on what front forks would suit this bike? Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks

Re:

I think Girvin forks (probably the carbon Crosslink version for your year of Proflex) are the standard fitment, odd looking but they work very well.
But, that's not to say you can't fit other forks, I fitted an 857 with some Pace RC38 forks which worked very well, so the choice is yours.
Personally I'd try and stay to around 100mm or so of travel, to match up with the rear shock.

Pace set up looks a lot better!

Just my opinion though

Agree with Mikee,

However a ProFlex without Girvins is like seeing a Pace wearing bombers .... Somehow slightly bizarre even thought there's no law against
