Cannondale F500 CAD2

I am looking to take delivery very shortly of a Cannondale CAD2 F500 with Headshox.

Wanting to see anyone out there who has one? And what they are using it for?

Will be turning mine potentially into a XC machine, with Magura's and a 1 x 10 drive train.

I have f600 but it may be more recent than yours as it has disc brake tabs on forks and frame.
Intended and has been used as the commute bike, namely because the headshok is well protected against grime, unlike fork stanchions.

hi, here is mine F500 , i use it for every day rides, xc races and marathons.
originaly bike had coda components, but i changed it to xtr, xt, mavic parts they work better.

What’s difference between CAD and CAAD?
And would a frame from 1996 be the same as the 99 one ? (Bar disk mounts ) so a CAD 3 (96) and CAAD 3 (99) same material ?
