BOW TI - TUNE CRANKS BB SPINDLE LENGTH

Does anyone have tune crank experience. Trying to figure out which length might work best (1 x 9 set up).

I have a pair I plan to use on an Ibis Bow Ti project I have looming....

Which tune chainset? Fast foot, big foot.. early Tune need fairly long, later get all low pro.

The key thing is chainline, so the question is which position is the chainring in-granny, middle or outer. If you're going for the middle then just use the stock bb length, outer then go a bit shorter than stock. Don't go too short or the chainline won't be optimal

going to do away with the small ring, and was thinking of having middle ring set as shown???

Pretty sure that's a Bigfoot so you'd need a 115mm for standard set up to get ideal chainline so you could probably go a little bit shorter but not too much else the chainline would be too far towards the BB

Yeah, hoping around 1996. Klein had them on a bike around then.

No ibis pics yet, but will get a 'readers bikes' build thread going soonish.
