I recently bought a Shimano brake kit and it came with highly polished steel ferrules 12mm in length (on the left in the picture). I was looking to use these for the gears too, but there's not enough of them in the pack.
I tried to find some more on the internet and thought I had found them on Ebay, but as you can see from the picture, they are 2mm too short and look more like aluminium than steel, making a poor match when they are fitted.
Does anyone know where I can get these 12mm steel ferrules?
