 Post subject: raleigh techniums

has anyone owned or still own one of these rare bikes, i had two but sold them a long time ago :cry: , a chill and a 600 road bike.
any info would be greatly appreciated.

never owned one, but in my Raleigh mustang days, I really used to lust after a white Tecnium with Deore gruppo. Lovely looking bike. It might have been a Chill? 88 I think it was.

Had little rings at the ends of the tubes, I guess where the lugs ended.

Anyone got any pics?

The Techniums were Raleigh USA bikes. Raleigh USA is a different company although they seem to converge and diverge according to how the mood takes them.

I think the Dynatech and M-Trax bikes were a result of them working together and sharing the Technium technology.

There used to be a white one tethered outside Clapham Junction station, it had full Deore groupo with U-brake so pre 1990. I left anote on it once offering to buy it but heard nothing.

I came close to buying that white chill, got a team stumpy instead.
