Front derailleur setup

Hi there wanted to know if I setup my front mech with just 2 rings up front will that work OK I'm using a m900 front mech.. Is it just a case of dialing in the limit screws further?

You can set the screws to limit the mech's range of travel accordingly for 1, 2 or 3. I've now ditched mine as I'm running a thicker single ring.
