Received a 1996 GT LTS 3 the other day, as bitd it was just out of my price range but I lusted after it because hey it was a LTS (even though it was low end).
I was inspecting it and noticed it had a cracked linkage bush. After it was removed I noticed how light it was and I believe its aluminium. Then a noticed how the rear brake cable hole had been drilled in to it and thought who was the stupid person at GT to think that this would have been a good idea. Ok its not exactly load bearing but the amount aluminium that is left after the hole was drilled, no wonder it cracked.
Am I right in thinking this from betd the the right replacement part (although I'll loose the cable guide and probably have to use V's?
