I'm the proud owner of a team RTS and whilst it's not one for the period correct purists, it's mine and I'm very happy with its retro-modness.
I'm about to fit some modern sids to it (quite rare with v mounts) and am wondering what options there might be for the rear shock? Nothing wrong with the noleen piggy back but can't help but think the rear end would be better with a modern air shock.
I'm no engineer but having seen some fox shocks with strange bolt on bits at the bottom, wondering if something is possible to carry on retro-modding it.
I know there is a risse shock, but they are pretty expensive, no one services them in the UK, and with the £ so low plus import duty and taxes, it's way out of my price range.
Anyone done anything along these lines or got any thoughts on the possibilities out there?
