Prolly salvageable but will need careful sawing and or Dremmelling to cut the old BB parts out and then thread retapping. Failing that one of those BB that threads onto itself.

I'd recommend a rolled-up sausage of Semtex threaded through the BB, and about 50ft of distance....crappy frame doesn't deserve anythin else....
 
A possible bodgus inextremus would be to use a crankset with a thinner axle like a FSA I have somewhere, then you can use ahead parts to compress onto the bearings. But that really would be a bodge.

Heat and a hacksaw maybe but the tubing makes great wind chimes.
 
If it's a steel frame, caustic soda. Job done.

Ah, no. Voltage 3. Aluminium frame. Mind you, caustic soda would also remove any worries about being able to recover the BB shell.
