93 kona, correct parts questions

Hi all, I've finally found a thin framed kona after always wanting one for nostalgic reasons, it's a purple and silver 93,very original, but the person who bought it as a shed find, only wanted it for the shifters, saddle and brake levels, I have recently found some DX shifters and retro decals are doing me the new decals so I can restore them, I'm struggling to find the correct grips and saddle, my research has found that the levers are dia comp ss 5s. Once I've got the correct parts I will make it a runner again before stripping down and fully restoring it. (I run specialist paintworks in Dorset). I would like to add some period "bling" on the re build, so any suggestions would be appreciated. If anyone has any knowledge of the correct missing items it would be brilliant. Scott

Which model of kona is it?

purple & silver is likely to be either a Fire Mountain or Lava dome. The parts on each were quite different. Have a look in the 1993 Kona catalogue in the archive on here.

Period bling would be matching purple bits...I have some 94 pcd chainrings if you are interested.

This will tell you original spec. Some of those bits will be very hard to find now.
Period bling for a Lava Dome would be purple ano accessories, and XT bits!
