22mm klein disc brake adapters

There is currently a thread on the brake time sub-forum of mtbr concerning disc brake adapters for old Klein frames with the 22mm chainstay mount.if you are interested take a look.sorry I cant provide a link but I haven't worked out tapatalk yet

but there is no mention of solution.
two options, make you own, like this talented person did:

or just buy one and save lots of hassle!
halfords sell it, gone up in price to £ 15 but still worth it.

Yeah you're right. It is simple diy job, saw, drill and file is all thats needed.

OMG that is horrific.

I heard stories of chain stay snapping with calliper fitted directly to stay, what i see there is calliper mounted on a long lever that will increase bending force.

I dont see why the adapter could not position the calliper closer to the seat stay.
