Inner tube liners…any good? do they work?

Im riding Schwalbe crazy bob tyres, they look dope on my steel Kona. They are fat balloon 26x2.35 tyres and hoped they wouldn't puncture as easy as they just have done! I really like them and chose them over marathon plus's which are very puncture resistant….how can I protect my tubes?

1 do inner tuber liners work?

2 if so which ones?

3 are my standard tubes being compromised/stretched due to the volume of
these tyres thus making them weaker/thinner?

any help MUCH appreciated! D

I still got thorn punctures with a liner and would expect this was less than without the liner but it is hard to say without riding over the same terrain and conditions i.e. over the same number of puncture producing objects.

But I found using a sealant in the tubes makes a difference; I still had firm tyres that were punctured by thorns, without the sealant they would have gone down. Still get punctures but would be more without the sealant.

I've found liners worked quite well against thorns but eventually the overlap of the liner slit the innertube no matter how carefully the liner was installed. Have given up on them and returned to Slime. Weight hardly seems an issue when there's so much mud.
