Did Orange ever have press fit bottom brackets?

Circlip pliers and take the clip out for starters. At least then you can see a little more :?

But i reckon its a bearing in there and maybe something home engineer conceived.

that chamfer on the shell suggests that at some stage it's been prepared for a mavic type threadless BB

The frame is at a friends at the moment, but he has taken the circlips and bearings out and reports it appears to look factory with no evidence of previous threads.

The frame is at a friends at the moment, but from previous pictures it has a mavic outer ring, not sure what the cranks are yet.

There is also no identifiable frame number.

The plot thickens!
