Just want to share.

Found maybe solution for brakes and "long enough pads vertical adjustment": Tektro RBP 866.
After short try of brakes I think I am going to still change fork to 28" because front brakes felt a bit "flexing" when braking hard. Reason might be distance between pads and pivots as pads are now in wrong slot.
Rear brakes felt OK.

Is the Mavic (some others made them too) adapter not a better idea? It will retain the correct positioning of brake blocks inside the arch of movement as the brakes are applied. The further up the arch, the less power.

One of the reasons why to go with 28" fork. Then pads would be in right position.

Well, update 1 continues after more than year. Finally I got something to ride. Fork is 28". Wheels are 28". Tires are 32- 622. So front brakepads are now correctly placed. Rear pads are in "tuned position".

Pedals I will change to something else. Rear derailleur needs cable.

Bit wondering driving position but need to make longer run to see how it works.
