How has the saddle held up over the summer? Was thinking of doing this myself to my old (and very tatty) rolls.
Just missed out on a lovely one on ebay :( .

i saw this thread a while ago and was inspired to retrim a flite. got a battered one off ebay for £3.50 the leather cost £2.50 and the carpet glue £3. half an hours work and i have a beaut of a perch.

I guess if the foam underneath is really crumbly it wouldn't form a good substrate to glue on, but i'm inagining you could glue straight on top of the old leather. . ? :?:
