Silver finish, what do you mean?
Both had the silver overall but the main logo area was in XTR blue-grey

It's a light silver block behind the logo, but with the "standard" silver logo as seen on the m900.

Poor picture, but it is not the metallic blue block seen on the m900.
I can post a picture when I get in if needs be.

I think that is just a faded front mech, coupled with poor photography
But yes, faded rear mechs do pop up.
I think I've had one or two of both.
