Missy Giove returning to racing?

Ann-Caro Chausson is still doing well, now in Enduro racing, how cool would it be to see the "Missile" in action again? :)

Re:

Good to see her, the antidote to the Pendletons. She's not quite a missile these days but still, at 43 – it gives me hope to hurl myself downhill. Better hide me stash first.

Re:

Agree...such a fun engaging personality. A true media find if ever there was one. Such a shame she got 'used' by the bike Cos then spat out when she stopped winning I guess. The drug bust prolly ads to her legendary status. She is pure media gold. Just hope she gets a TV commentary position or suchlike so we can all enjoy her energy.

Classified 17th and finished 16th being the third fastest at the speed trap. Not bad at all. I hope she can keep on racing

I had a mail form a friend involved in the Sprung video series with me bitd, he couldn't believe how far MTB video has come in a relatively short time....

I watched the video and was just stunned.........fluid, smooth, seamless..., quality track too.

It made me think of this thread, whilst a different kinda thing, it did make me think how awkward she looked on the bike, fair play at 43 though, the love for the rush never leaves.

Is it me or does she look really uncomfortable with those really wide bars?

She didn't look like she was going 'at it' like she used to but neither would we at 43 !!! Let's not forget she had a long lay off and very little ride time. Think she did amazing though and her ability to pick good lines is still evident. Personally I'd like to see/hear her commentating on such events, like the best Golf Tourny pundits. She has a way with words and would really vibe things up and inject some much needed humour too.

She would, and when finished we could all sit round the camp fire and smoke a reefer, get the munchies, and laugh at each others jokes when the giggles set in....lol

Re:

Time to skin up a "Camberwell carrot" in appreciation, I say. Although not flat out, she laid down a respectable qualifier and put in some good air time with accurate jumps on her run. Have to say, she looked mighty relieved it was over (in the way only a veteran can) when she took her lid off. She was probably thinking: "give me my old Yeti back next time". Those big wheels and wide bars looked ungainly – well that's 29ers for you. All the best to her though. Be good to see her doing other events once free of her parole conditions.

I wonder if sponsors will see the Drug trafficking as a hindrance or a help....
