Cheers for the comments - the daughters was 5' ish when I built it - she's probably about 5'5" now.
Don't get me thinking that I need to build a 17" bike for her :)

Which bit of the AluO serial no denotes the year? It's A108nnnn - so does that imply August '91?
I read a comment on here t'other day that the '89 frames had riveted cable-holders on the top-tube - which mine has?

I'd like to say I still own this but some theiving scum stole it from the school bike sheds many, many years ago.......

A real mix of kit: XT/LX, Pace (forks and rings), USE Post. Loved it.

It's theft did pave the way for a RC200 F2 which I stupidly sold a couple of years ago.

Not seen any purple ones yet, so here's mine. Just got it back on the road. Not been too hung up about authenticity, just put it back together with stuff from my friends and my parts bin
