Suggest an interesting crankset

Starting to get stuff together for this winters project, it's a pre 96 Cannondale Super V with carbon swing arm. I have some funky stuff going on it but am looking for suggestions for an interesting crankset. Obviously a Coda magic crankset springs to mind but the eyewatering price puts me off any suggestions for an interesting period (ish) square taper crankset that won't look out of place?

Re:

Firstly shut up about winter, even in jest, anticipation or small talk! ;)

Sugino comes to mind, like the mighty or just any natural polished ones. i'm sure sugino made the coda stuff and some white industries. sugino polish up well and look right. compact perhaps? 94/58bcd.

i have some really cool sugino cranks where, all rings are 74bcd, secured with long bolts, that's future proofing for you! as the middle rings are generally found on road double cranks, plenty around.

that gives me loads of rings to choose from when i need them, rather than hunting for something that far out-weighs the cost of the cranks.

cheers!
