If anyone is on good terms with Chipps e-mail him. I'd like to know.

Wasn't even aware Klein did a 'cross bike. Looks like a pre-Trek one as well.

That'll be quite a ride off road. Fat alu tubes + narrow cross tyres + drops = :shock:

deffo pre trek. klein stopped doing the larger 1 9/16 steerer tubes forks when trek took over.

agreed, tis a bit rich for the Wicked but like scant pointed out, you never really see them for sale on eBay UK.

People have asked Mr.Chipps on STW but I don't hink he has replied yet, anyroad, he got an awesome bike.

i was at stw recycled on sunday and saw both bikes.

if anyone is interested i took the guy's details just in case.

i recall him telling me that the klein was £400 for the complete bike and the fat was £300 including some parts.

£400 notes is a bargain, esp if it is a pukka 'crosser.
