This steed ain't British, but it's big'n'black....

My 1995 Stumpjumper M2 FS, been my only ride since 1996, when I bought the frame and fork from the LBS owner for whom I worked at the time. Transferred all the bits from my lowly Hardrock FS (1993, IIRC) to it, and slowly upgraded it over the following two years or so to this form. Raced it at Mt. Ste. Anne in 1997, in Sportsman class, finishing mid-pack, along with a handful of local races in New Brunswick, Canada. Grew away from mountainbiking in the early 2000's, and have been returning to it over the last couple years. She rides as well today as ever, once I got a few initial kinks sorted....



I think she's beautiful....

(Like the look of that Raleigh too.....)
