How much is a ~2000 Specialised P3 frame worth? Its been painted to a fairly good standard but has a mark as shown, a few chips in the chain stay and a small dent on the head stock gusset.

From the depths of Arthur Daley's lock up, comes......... a new old stock Muddy Fox Roadrunner frame. It's been in storage since 86/87/88 sort of time, so has a few little knocks, but it's never been built. I can find very little info on the web. Pink and white paintwork, Tange MTB tubeset, chainstay U-brake mounts. Sized BIG, with horizontal TT as bikes used to be back then. Despite it being a "Roadrunner", I'm pretty sure this takes 559 size wheels. Any ideas or info appreciated!

Here are some poor camera phone pics :P

Hi Vyker - that's a '93.......pretty sure. Value? At a guess between £60 and £130 depending on condition. Nice bikes to ride though and worth spending some time getting it together. :)

Excellent, thanks for a prompt reply.

Really want to clean it up, and sort out the front brakes, they don't seem to work as they should.

Any threads worth recommending on what products are best to use to clear up dust grime grit grease off a bike, and what to is best to lubricate it?

Rather than a 170 page thread would it not be better to have a section that can contain seperate threads for this purpose?

No, because then the whole MTB chat board would be full of requests for valuations, and people have a reference here for any questions that is easy to find :D
