 Post subject: Opinions please....

I quite like the idea of running a Judy fork with a "V-Brake brace as opposed to a Canti one, the idea being that i would then use a headset based cable hanger. Are there any known issues with this set up using a suspension fork - i have seen this many times on a rigid bike!

yup, when the fork compresses your brakes wont work

LOL. Think it through. But if you're one of those guys that have to learn for themselves make sure the fork is at foll compression when you set up the brake.
