so im sat here with a 97 hei hei frame 18" and a 96 djab frame 17.25"

im trying to work out which I like better (not ridden the hei hei yet) but I suspect it will be the same.

on the scales the voodoo is 200/300g lighter (dodgy kitchen ones) but probley due to the size.

the welds its hard to say but I think the hei hei wins but only slightly.

the seat stays on the voodoo are nice and curvy which I like better but this is down to personal taste and the finish on the voodoo is nicer. it has a matt finish though im not sure how this is achieved. (acid eched?)

one area the hei hei wins though is the rear drop outs and the cable routing

some teaser photos ill get some better tomorrow, will leave you to guess which is which

Two different bikes, it all depends what use you have and what type of tracks you prefers.

In short, Hei Hei is a full blooded Race bike with the extra benefits the titanium gives, D-Jab is more slack and demand a little less of the rider when the fun starts (going down, jumps).

Both are great frames, well designed by Joe Murray. :)

as promised took a couple befour building up the hei hei

I had a Hei Hei, you'll love it, fast and responsive, sorry cant comment on the Djab, lucky you though for having two excellent frames :)

What's your component choice?

Rich

I wish I could keep both, but the voodoo is now on it way to its new owner :(

the build is probably a bit too modern for this section, I may have to move it to 98 but it has....

turbines, crossmax, rc31, maguras, use carbon and modern xt. im looking for a xtr front mech befour I can retrofy it.

ta da. I tried to find and angle that hides the riser bar end combo
