I have recently used Oxalic acid to remove internal rust from seatstays and chainstays, seemed to do a good job and then I did my usual of spraying in some motorcycle chain wax, which I have been doing for a very long time every time I service bikes and motorcycles. Spray coats the inside well and adheres to all the surfaces sealing them. Electrolysis was a plan recently but I never got round to it too busy, but will revisit that as I have one of my 4x4s stripped and lots of parts need doing.

I rate Bilt Hamber products:

http://www.bilthamber.com/corrosion-treatments

for cavity type protection the dynax range is vg :D

I used Waxoyl on my bike frame and have never had a problem with rust in the tubes.
