My zaskar was most definitely ball burnished. I remember it well. There is still some left despite 20 years of polishing.

The titanium Raleighs were a blasted or spark finish, I doubt it involved ball bearings!
Have you got a picture LGF of where it has still some left?

Just have a look at my album I've got a zaskar and an rts3 both ball burnished. I love the finish, I'm not sure why manufacturers don't do it any more?
