If the rear wheels's the original, it's a seven speed cassette type. (so slides onto spline fitting, NOT screw on) It woulda been an 11/28.

That should have the casset type (slides over and screws onto a free hub not screw on free wheel type which includes the ratcheting mechanism inside the gear cluster)
