hi i have a fastrax hx rear shock but cant wok out how to dismantle it for oil change and service ? any help please its a large travel coilover oil dampened floating piston thanks for any help

not many shocks are completely serviceable at home, they can require some very specific tools which most people simply don't have access to.

that said, i don't recognise the name of the shock you are talking about and i have come across most. a picture speaks a thousand words though :wink:

fastrax , is that the really long shocks on coyote bikes ?

hey i have more pictures now i understand it to be a 7 inch shock used on some coyote bikes fastrax dh bikes and my ddg bike uses oil damping https://plus.google.com/photos/10237708 ... smg&cfem=1
