I've just got a rear xtr m950 hub, but the free hub body has movement in it and feels a bit rough, also it's lost it's clicking noise and is more of a grind. I've done a few google searches but had no luck, where could I get a replacement free hub body?
Anyone had to change theirs or know where I could get one?

as far as I know, they dismatle the same as any other shimano hub. Axle out, 11mm allen key to remove the hollow bolt. I dare say lots are interchangeable so it may be worth broadening the search to lx/xt of the same period.

Is that one Titanium shell, ...early in the morning and brain not awake.
They are expensive to get the same.

The original code is Y32T9801

You'll no doubt be able to fit lower quality freehubs on of a similar design, just get the 'shield' seal the same size, they do vary in seal diameter and a big pain to change
It'll be heavier, it'll not have the nice bearing race, it'll work though.
You could take it off and pull the seal at the back and flush then lube Ti see if it works.
Most freehubs 'wobble' even my new m770 does.

I will try this and if this gets me no where, il probably look at using xt or lx from around the late 90s.
would this be xt m739?
