I've never seen a non triple triangle gt... Interesting.

I 'think' ( as in from memory rather than laboriously combing Google/ Retrobike) that this is a 1985/6 model. There is another version of this on RB somewhere.

And as for non triple triangle GT's - they were available as late as 1990:
