Never seen this one, and never seen a MTB with double rear brake: canti and rollercam..!!

Anyone familiar with this bike or brand (BMX I think..)?

That's cool.

My first off roader was an adapted flat-bar-24"-wheel single speed that I swapped with Robert Brown's brother for some plastic soldiers and a quid (around 1981). Naturally I upgraded it with wicked paint and double rear brakes. I wish I'd thought of the splitter plate on that DP Racer: mine had a standard bar lever and an additional one mounted on the chainstay for kick down lock up. Happily, kick down lock up never caught on and I got a Raleigh Grifter for Chistmas.

Jussa :D

Thanks for that Jussa, a great trip down memory lane :)
And i even think my old bike is in the Gallery (Freestyler Mk2 furthest on right top row) exactly the same build except for the saddle :D

Why do I have a picture in my head of guys in sheds having nervous breakdowns trying to get the brakes set up properly?

On a tangent (apologies for digressing this thread) But Gruff, back in the 80's a group of us from Rushden got together with our BMX's and launched a campaign to get a BMX track built in Spencer Park (Just off washbrook Road, Rushden) It was where the old community paddling pool was, which was in a bad state of repair. The Evening Telegraph (Local Paper) came on board and took some photos of us all on our BMX's and it made front page news, It was around the era of the film ET so BMX's were very much the trend. The track was built resulting in many a happy day spent shredding the park.

My local BMX shop was Mick Jeffs (Wellingborough) supplier of Mongoose, Haro, Skyway, GT and DP bikes and frames as well as some others like Falcon Pro.

Happy Days. :D

Similar system of rear brakes was in late 80/early 90 tandems
Magura maded a double cable ready rear brake lever (similar system to showed in pics) and cables goes to cantis (top of rear triangle) and ubrake (lower stays near bb)- here is photo which I found in the web while ago (Fisher Tandem)

Exactly! I had double cable levers on my tandem...but for the front. It takes some firm grip though to apply fully, so eventually I fitted Magura hydraulics instead.
