I think that during the early 80's Sachs-Huret got a bit of a bad rap. Mainly because nearly every cheap racer was fitted with the ubiquitous ECO mech, which was fine for what it was but hardly exotic. I personally remember being quite shocked when I first ran across the absolutely beautiful Huret Jubilee mech because the ECO was all I knew
As for the 3500 series I seem to remember it as being a quite utilitarian but solid performing series comparable with say DX quality rather than XT.
I want to live in a better world, one where chickens can cross the road without their motives being questioned !!
