Hi chaps

Anyone have some good advise on how to restore the black paint on the levers without removing or loosing the Dia Compe decal?

Remove the barrel adjusters, reach screws and blades. Mask your decals with a couple of layers of masking tape. Rub with some medium grade, 240 perhaps, wet n dry to smooth what's left of the original paint out and remove any loose flakes. Prime, then paint. Polish up the blades with metal polish too. You'll end up with a nice lookin' pair of levers, decals intact too.
